Hindus have a special ceremony where they slaughter thousands of buffalos to apease the god of prosperity.
The following graphic photos shows the Hindu devotees slaughtering about 250,000 animals in an open field near the temple. Millions of Hindus participate in the ceremony, in Nepal.
