As expected, Uhuru had to agree to ethnic balance and he did not choose Mwangi Kingori as the IG but instead he settled on Joseph Kipchirchir Boinet who, like Kimaiyo comes from Elgeyo Marakwet.
All we can say is we wish him well and hopefully, he will stem the runaway security in Kenya
